Refund & Cancellation Policy
This policy explains refunds for subscriptions, add-on services, and brand deal payments on Pitchfork.
Effective October 8, 2026
It is part of our Terms of Service.
Subscriptions
- Paid plans are billed in advance. Current prices are on our Pricing page.
- You can cancel anytime from your account settings. Cancellation stops the next renewal. You keep paid features until the end of the period you already paid for.
- Subscription fees are not refundable, except where the law requires a refund.
- If we change a plan's price, we give you at least 30 days' notice before it applies to you.
Add-on services
- Identity verification and attorney review are one-time services. They are not refundable once the service has started. If we cannot deliver a service you paid for, we refund it in full.
Brand deal payments (escrow)
Deal payments are held and released under our Escrow Policy. In short:
- The brand's payment is held after both parties close the deal.
- After the creator marks the deal delivered, the brand has 7 days to approve or open a dispute. Funds auto-release on day 8.
- If the creator does not deliver within 14 days of the agreed date, the brand can cancel for a full refund, including the platform fee.
- Disputes are reviewed within 10 business days of receiving both parties' evidence. Outcomes are a full release, a full refund, or a split.
Chargebacks
If you have a problem with a charge, contact support@getpitchfork.co first so we can resolve it.
